Rain and cooler temps

We've had a couple dandy rain storms this past week which brought us awesome cool temperatures.  What a wonderful relief from the heat!!  The heat starts to wear us down by the end of September.

This rain came as "the girls" were playing our afternoon pegs game.  We had to take a break to watch the rain gushing down.

Needless to say, our carts made for a rather damp ride home.

We got a lot of rain in a short time so found some puddles around the course.

Ken Wolf captured this scene on the 3rd fairway.

Today we're back to clear sunny blue sky and its wonderful to be out of the triple digits.  Crews are still out reseeding the golf course.

Concrete guys are working on sidewalks by the new pickleball courts.

Just about finished with the outside brick wall.

Forms being built for more sidewalks.

Another house waiting to be parked in its new home.

Trench work around the pool area getting ready for footings.

Will have to build a wall around the pool area.

Work continues at the south pavilion and dog park area.  This has to be a tough job to do the finishing stone work.

New sign at the gate to the dog park so wanted to see what it said.

New RVs on display from Mesa RV

By the time a man is wise enough to watch his step,
he's too old to go anywhere.

Old age is when you have stopped growing at both ends,
and have begun to grow in the middle.

Old age is having a choice of two temptations and choosing the one that will get you home earlier.

A man has reached old age when he is cautioned to slow down by his Doctor instead of by the police.

Old age is when it takes longer to rest than to get tired.
