Welcome Back Party

The weatherman cooperated nicely and provided a great afternoon for our January Welcome Back party.  When we first arrived and saw the long line at the food booth, I thought it would take forever, but we need not fear.  We made friends with the folks in line and found the wait wasn't that bad after all.  Great pulled pork with yummy beans, some chips, a cookie and a drink.  Count us among the very satisfied customers!
 

 

 

Proceeds benefit "Ride for the Warrior".  Their mission is to raise awareness and funds for our United States Military Veteran organizations.

 

 

 

Guests could stroll around Palm Park and stop to visit any of the club or activities booths to learn more about the different organizations.  The Guest Services gals were in great form with lots of friendly smiles.  Say hi to Christy, Ricki, and Marilyn.

 

 

 

There's that wooden eagle on display again.  I have a LONG string of raffle tickets for that eagle.    Our woodshop folks turn out some beautiful projects.

 

 

We were entertained by a great band that played our old time favorites and had a lot of us dancing to the beat.
