Updates

Good Morning Again.   Nice weather this morning as the humidity level is dropping back to normal after our few days of precious rain.  As I write this, we're at 97 degrees and 22% humidity.  Not bad at all.  10:30 a.m.

We're all anxious to see some progress on the new construction area as folks keep writing and asking for news.  It is obvious that there is a lot of work being done, but as a casual observer, it is hard to describe.  The photos just all look like dirt.  This photo shows some obvious trenching at the north end of Oasis.

The city inspector's truck is nearby.

Surveyors are still pounding in more flags.

Dirt piles come and go but we can't get close enough to see what's really happening.

Yup.  Just looks like dirt.

More surveyors.

Tree trimming continues.

These guys always have a smile and a friendly wave regardless of how hard they're working.

This was interesting to see.  The tractor is pulling a line of concrete bricks to level off the gravel.  It really makes a difference in appearance.  This is definitely another one of those chores we never know or think about.  There is LOTS of work to keep the place looking so nice.

Another laundromat being painted.

Just a casual glance down the street at Putter Place.

We spotted Joanie and Barney at the dog run so stopped to say hello.

These beautiful lacey bushes are known as Bird of Paradise.  This healthy crop is on the corner at site 1655.

Just more photos as we make our rounds.

Another of Don's artistic shots.  He's pretty good with his cellphone camera.

And one final picture of me and the folks spraying pre-emergent weed stuff.

That's all for today folks.  Nothing exciting but still kinda fun to report as I sit here having my second cup of coffee.
